How our prices are calculated

We fetch the international gold spot price (XAU/USD) directly from the global bullion market and combine it with live currency exchange rates. Every country price on this website is calculated from those two numbers, using the standard troy ounce (31.1035 grams) and the traditional tola weight (11.6638 grams). The page refreshes automatically every 60 seconds while it is open.
